Umbagog Lake borders both the state of Maine and state of New Hampshire. The lake itself is dotted with many islands which afford the visitor breathtaking scenery and water views. It is surrounded byMountains and is abundant in wildlife. This area supports a variety of waterfowl as well as fish, otters, moose, deer, and other animals. Recreational boating is available utilizing the boat launch areas if you wish. You may also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and sailing. Campgrounds and cabins are available for those who enjoy a more rustic, natural setting.
